The property of "Parco Fiorito" is surrounded by pinewoods and tall forests rich in mushrooms, truffles and chestnuts. A working Farm, "Parco Fiorito" covers 20 acres cultivated with corn and barley which is used to feed a herd of sheeps which provides mutton. An olive grove and sun drenched vineyards provide olive oil and wines of high quality. All of these products are produced organically without chemical additives and under the strict guidlines and controls of the AIAB (the Italian Association of Biological Agriculture). In the three main farm structures are found independent apartments beautifully rennovated in wood and terracotta. Thus rendering to the accomodations, a traditional and autentic air while at the same time not renouncing the more modern conveniences such as television and telephone. While the location of the farm offers many touristic and cultural possibilities, il also provides, to those clients who desire it, the possibility of participating in every day Italian farm life allowing them to work side by side with the farmer, his assistants, and the many animals which are raised on the farm. All this, while still enjoying the advantages of an eventual cool clip in the pool !! Parco Fiorito is still a biological working - farm. The estate is certified by the AIAB, the Italian Biological Approval Service. The different products, wine, olive oil, vegetables & fruit and meat can be tasted and bought on the estate. The product list and prices may be obtained by Roberto Russo, the owner of the estate. Parco Fiorito lies in the middle of the Umbrian hills with a beautiful view of the Tuscan hill town of Cortona. The cities of Arezzo and Perugia are only a few kilometers away. Florence, Siena and Rome are easely accessed by the highway. The owner gives, on request, a typical Tuscan meal, which you really can enjoy, in the old dining room of the monastery, where as much as possible their own products are served. Everything is taken care of, with an eye for detail and history. All the rooms are floorheated so that the radiators don't disturb the medieval atmosphere. The owner is willing to give you as a host; information about the events in the region and will give you directions for traveling in the beautiful area. If you want to enjoy the nature, you can stay at the swimmingpool, which is on the estate.

Situated in the neighbourhood of Trasimeno Lake, Capricci di Merion is a Liberty style Villa, immersed in the Umbrian green and entirely renovated. Our guests can walk through olive trees all around the villa, lying down on the grass of the park or simply sitting in the garden and look at the overview.
